How Does a Lighthouse Work? is nominated for Le prix du Livre d’architecture pour la Jeunesse de l’Académie d’Architecture (Architecture Book for Children Award by the Architecture Academy)

Congratulations to Roman Belyaev whose book published in French as Comment fonctionne un phare? by Editions la Pastèque is among 5 nominees for Le prix du Livre d’architecture pour la Jeunesse de l’Académie d’Architecture (Architecture Book for Children Award by the Architecture Academy). It’s the second time when the children’s book category of this award is granted to make the question of architecture and urbanism more popular among readers of all ages. The adult category has existed for 20 years.

The French edition of How Does a Lighthouse Work? has also been nominated for another prestigious award – The Prix Sorcières 2021!

In 2019 the English edition of How Does a Lighthouse Work? won the "Best Information Book" award at the STEAM Children’s Book Prize and was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal.
